Short Bio
Wei Wang is currently a senior research scientist (equivalent to associate professor) with the Peng Cheng Laboratory, Shenzhen, China. He received the B.S. degree (with the highest honor) from Central South University, Changsha, China in 2010, the M.S. degree from Southeast University, Nanjing, China in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia in 2017. From 2018 to 2021, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications, the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.

- Advanced modulation techniques for 6G communications
Exploring the practical applications of vector-OFDM, a.k.a., OTFS, and advancing innovations in 6G waveforms. - Artificial Intelligence (AI) in wireless communications
Exploiting the spatial signatures of wireless channels using deep learning technologies to self-cluster, auto-encode, and auto-decode the massive data of wireless channels. - Intelligent reflecting surfaces assisted wireless communications
Creating smart radio environment using intelligent reflecting surfaces and reinforcement learning technologies. - UAV communications
Integrating wireless sensing with air navigation for the smarter control of UAV flight and communications in urban cellular networks. - Joint localization and millimeter wave communications
Embracing localization with mmWave communications to build the dual-function (positioning & communications) infrastructures for urban IoT.
